The Elite Divan includes a fantastic, hand-crafted mattress featured with a beautiful De Luxe divan base. The Baronet mattress features some of the highest quality, exclusive, natural fillings including horsehair, bonded Platinum Certified British fleece wool and cotton. As well as this, the Elite features some of the highest-end Bed construction technology with its Hand-nested calico pocket spring construction that features 1254, 56mm springs. The mattresses borders are also upholstered with the greatest quality protective wool that is perfectly paired to its 2 rows of hand side stitching and air vents for extra ventilation throughout when you sleep.

• Calico Pocket Springs- Each pocket spring is encased in a durable calico pocket offering strength and flexibility. These pocket springs are hand nested in a honeycomb pattern that maximises the support offered by each bespoke mattress. The springs work independently of each other gently supporting you where you need it most whilst you sleep. Vispring are the inventors of the pocket spring in 1901 and have continued their efforts in creating the best quality pocket spring possible.
• 100% Platinum certified British Fleece Wool-Produced in keeping with age-old traditions with no harm to sheep, this soft, hypo-allergenic, breathable and ten times more absorbent than synthetic material works in harmony with your body to regulate the temperature in your bed. Wool is clipped in the shetland isles regarded as the best in the world and offering unsurpassed insulating properties and considerable crimp for springiness.
• Blended Fleece Wool- 100% British fleece wool is blended with the finest horsehair, the softest silk, cashmere and mohair to cushion and support.
• Cotton- A durable material yet soft to the touch and highly absorbent allowing for great moisture wicking keeping you cool and dry whilst sleeping especially on hot nights.
• Hand Side Stitching – Often used on quality pocket spring mattresses, a cord is passed through multiple entry points along the side of the mattress securing the pocket springs the mattress border. This technique means no bulging will occur and no metal rod will be needed to secure the springs as this can limit the movement of the springs. Multiple rows of side stitching can be used depending on the size and quality of the mattress. This is a difficult technique done by hand and improves edge to edge support.
• Hand Tufted – Fabric tufts are evenly distributed along the mattress surface, tufts hold the inner loose fillings in position. These fabric tufts help prolong the mattress’s life, making sure loose fillings don’t clump together or shift around.
• Handles- Stitched onto the sides of the mattress to help you easily get a hold of the mattress for turning or flipping of the mattress.
• Tape Edging- Master craftsmen use meticulous care to close the mattress pannel and border leaving no raw fabric edges with slender but strong colour matched tape edging creating a beautiful smooth finish.
• Air Vents– Small chrome vents placed along the side of the mattress to encourage better airflow throughout the mattress, working to keep the mattress cool and dry making it more hygienic.
