One of our major commitments is as a patron of the Blackburn and Darwen Youth Zone. This incredible organization provides opportunities for local youth who may not have access to them otherwise. With a state-of-the-art £5 million facility, the Youth Zone offers young people a safe space with activities, mentors, and resources. We are proud to support their mission of empowering and inspiring young people through monthly donations.
We also have an ongoing partnership with Nightsafe, a vital local charity serving vulnerable and homeless youth in Blackburn. Over the past year alone, we have provided 50 beds for young people who need a warm, safe place to sleep. As Nightsafe celebrates over 30 years of service, we are honored to support their work through bed donations and other assistance.
At Prestige Beds, we are also proud members of the National Bed Federation (NBF). The NBF supports British bed brands and businesses that aim to make the world a better place through sustainable practices and eco-friendly operations. As part of the NBF, we strive to follow industry best practices when it comes to environmental impact. We are committed to continually improving our sustainability efforts, whether it be through material sourcing, manufacturing processes, or end-of-life recycling. Our membership in the NBF connects us to other like-minded businesses who share our goals of building a more sustainable future for the bed industry.
