Features of the Paros 24000 from the new Harrison Spinks Seasonal Turn Collection:

With layers of blended British wool and viscose, lustrous cashmere, luxurious silk, Yorkshire wool, home-grown flax, crisp cooling Egyptian cotton, sumptuous mohair, super soft alpaca and kapok. The Paros has 24000 innovative springs; including 100% recyclable advanced Cortec™ Revolution pocket springs, pressure relieving HD 2500 and HD 4000 micro springs and contouring Microlution Airflow springs. With an in-house woven FR chemical free mattress cover and four rows of side stitching, this Seasonal Turn mattress has a warming wool winter side and cooling cotton summer side.

  • Revolution spring – A unique award-winning spring designed by Harrison Spinks. The revolution spring features a smaller pocketed spring within a larger spring. This offers two levels of firmness and adds to the life and performance of your mattress. This two-stage action allows for the outer spring to provide a high degree of comfort whilst the smaller interior spring delivers a supportive second action. This allows for a variation of support when it’s needed most, tailoring itself to your unique shape and providing the best comfort possible.
  • HD Airflow Springs – These springs work to allow airflow throughout the mattress giving your mattress a more breathable quality. This allows your mattress fillings to stay fresh and dry no matter the season for a more comfortable hygienic sleep. These springs work completely independently of each other adapting to your body’s contours to relieve pressure and give greater support.
  • Wool – A popular natural filling for its soft, springy and naturally supportive qualities. Wool is also proficient at wicking away moisture helping to regulate body temperature, keeping you warm and dry as you sleep. It is also antibacterial, anti-static and its inherent fire retardant meaning there’s no need to use chemicals
  • Viscose – Light and versatile viscose is derived from the wood pulp of the eucalyptus, beech and pine trees. When blended with other fibres it makes for the perfect mattress filling due to its breathability providing a fresh nights sleep.
  • Flax – A light and absorbent filling that’s three times stronger than cotton. The absorbency of flax helps to improve moisture management of your mattress, whilst the softness of the flax adds to the overall comfort of the bed.
  • Egyptian Cotton – With its superior fine strands Egyptian cotton gives a much softer, more luxurious feel, it’s also incredibly absorbent and more durable. This breathable material allows for better temperature control as air can pass through it easily keeping you cool and dry on hot stuffy nights.
  • Mohair – Softer and smoother than wool, mohairs fine silky texture gives it a more luxurious feel. Its fibres are soft to the touch yet light and strong whilst sharing the beneficial properties of wool but with added sumptuousness.
  • Alpaca – Known for its softness Alpaca is even softer than sheep’s wool, the luxuriously soft material is both durable and naturally hypoallergenic. Alpaca fleece also consists of excellent moisture-wicking properties.
  • Kapok – An incredibly soft and silky fibre otherwise known as tree silk. This light and lustrous fibre is obtained from the seed pods of the Kapok tree. The fibre makes a naturally silky and luxurious filling that is excellent at regulating body temperature making for a more comfortable sleep.
  • Hand Side Stitching – Often used on quality pocket spring mattresses, a cord is passed through multiple entry points along the side of the mattress securing the pocket springs the mattress border. This technique means no bulging will occur and no metal rod will be needed to secure the springs as this can limit the movement of the springs. Multiple rows of side stitching can be used depending on the size and quality of the mattress. This is a difficult technique done by hand and improves edge to edge support.
  • Seasonal Turn – With a winter side and summer side you can flip your mattress to the seasons. The Winter side will provide warmer fillings. Whilst the summer side allows for more moisture-wicking properties and breathable elements to help regulate your temperature on hot nights. Each side has been tailored to provide the best filling for the season.
  • 24000 innovative springs in total made up of two layers of Microlution Airflow springs, two layers of HD 4000 micro springs, two layers of HD 2500 micro springs and advanced Cortec Revolution pocket springs
  • Natural and Chemfree mattress cover

And on both sides of this seasonal turn mattress, deep layers of:

  • British wool and viscose blend
  • Cashmere wool, silk and Yorkshire wool blend
  • Egyptian cotton, mohair and flax blend
